POSTED BY Rapid Micro Biosystems | 2 minute read

Rapid Micro Biosystems is pleased to sponsor and exhibit at the 2015 European Microbiology Conference in Prague, Czech Republic on 6 and 7th of May. This year’s conference will focus on regulatory updates, contamination control, the use and validation of new microbiological methods and experiences from related industries.

The 2015 conference will also be combined with a pre-conference workshop on the handling of microbiological out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-limit (OOL) results.  The microbiology conference will focus on the growing importance and role of the microbiologist to manufacturing and the increasing focus on microbiology during inspections and product submissions.

Paul Lukes of GlaxoSmithKline will deliver a presentation titled, “Validation of an Automated Rapid Bioburden Enumeration System for Pharmaceutical Water Testing.” His presentation will include a discussion of the following topics:

  • Validation of the Growth DirectTM System against common microorganism isolates found in pharmaceutical water systems
  • Stressed organism validation methods and results
  • Time-to-results determinations
  • LIMS integration with the Growth DirectTM System for direct data entry

The 2015 ECA Microbiology Conference is sure to be one of the most informative events of the year – we hope to see you there!
