Industry-Standard Growth Media

The Growth Direct^® System features proprietary consumables designed to facilitate high-throughput automated handling and image processing. While our consumables are comprised of the same media and materials used in traditional compendium methods to simplify validation, they enable test results to be produced faster and more accurately while also improving ease of use and system throughput.

Non-Destructive Testing

No reagents are needed for sample analysis. Positive samples continue to incubate so that final colony units (CFUs) can be analyzed and sent for microbial identification without regrowth steps that waste critical time.

Reduced Contamination Risk

Media-filled cassettes are produced in controlled cleanroom environments, then irradiated to ensure high quality and long shelf life. Once cassettes are loaded, colony imaging, counting, and data recording are all handled automatically to safeguard sample integrity and the welfare of your people.

Improved Sample Management

Each of our media-filled Growth Direct® System cassettes is delivered with a unique 2D identifier label. There is also room for a system-generated, customer-applied label with an additional 2D barcode for sample identification.

Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) with Lecithin
TSA with LP80HT (histidine and thiosulphate)

For Water and Bioburden Testing

R2 Agar (R2A) for water testing
Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) for yeasts and molds
Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) for general product testing
